- Signed I. U. Bredsdorff. Johan Ulrik Bredsdorff (1845-1928) is a listed artist. Studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts 1868-76. He went on study trips to Switzerland 1877, Norway 1887 and Italy. Exhibitions since 1870. Represented in several museums, among others in Ribe, Vejen and Randers and also the Statens Museum for Kunst. He exhibited at Charlottenborg and also in Chicago in 1893. One of his paintings sold for $1.827 at Bruun Rasmussen, Copenhagen in September 1991.
