Jensen (1855-1928), educated at the Royal Academy of Art in Copenhagen
1874-80. Study trip to Germany and Switzerland 1889.

He exhibited at
Charlottenborg for several years, at the World Exhibition in Chicago in 1893 and
at the Nordic Exhibition in Copenhagen 1883. He worked with a naturalistic
and detailed approach. One of his paintings was sold for $7000 in Boston (MA) at
Skinner in 1993 ("A Marsh View", lot 155).

Represented in several museums. Especially well-known for his landscapes.
