- Signed by Erik Larsen (1902-1975), listed Danish artist. Educated by Karl Lasen 1932-33. Study trips to Paris 1929, 1936, Munich 1929. Exhibitions since 1930.
- Erik Larsen was known for his bohemian life style. He divided his time between the pubs of Copenhagen and the life in the country side. In his early years he was greatly insipred by French artists and he painted circus, carnival, pub and exotic scenes. Later he painted topics of historical or literary content, such as scenes from Thousand and One Night.
